Abbey Belles is a long‑established women’s a cappella and barbershop chorus based in Selby, performing across Yorkshire and taking part in national competitions. We welcome new singers, especially bass voices, and we’re available to book for events, concerts and community performances.

Abbey Belles is a vibrant, friendly choir based in Selby. We sing in close harmony, performing everything from upbeat barbershop to contemporary arrangements — all completely unaccompanied.
We also take part in regional and national competitions, bringing polished, confident performances to the stage.
ABOUT US
For more than 30 years, Abbey Belles has been part of Selby’s musical community. Our chorus blends voices to create a rich, expressive sound shaped by teamwork, musical development and a shared love of harmony.
We rehearse weekly, perform at events across Yorkshire and continually refine our craft through coaching and competition. At the heart of it all is friendship, encouragement and the joy of singing together.
